Belly to Baby Story Part 1

Meet Jennifer and Frank. They are expecting a beautiful baby girl in October. I have been given the honor of doing a belly to baby story for them. I can't wait! Hopefully they will have agreed on a name by the time she gets here! Congratulations and thank you both for sharing this wonderful experience with me.

April & Justin Tie The Knot!

This past Saturday, April & Justin tied the knot at Twelve Stone Farm in Talking Rock, GA. If you have not been to this farm, it is a must see – Beautiful mountain views, huge sweeping willows over the pond, an adobe chapel and so much more. Even though it was hot, you could not have asked for a more beautiful day! It was like being in a fairytale - right down to the horse and carriage. Thank you to April & Justin for trusting me with your magical day. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for the two of you, your love and commitment to each other and your faith in God was so evident, I hope everyone can see it from your photos. I wish you Love and Happiness in your marriage always!

Family Time

This weekend we went to David's employee appreciation get together at Talona Creek, Jason was fascinated by Blecky the new K9, but not so much with the creek. The water was moving pretty fast and he kept trying to balance and ending up face down in the creek. We also decided to plant some flowers, I discovered Jason being entertained by a butterfly, and it looked like fun, so I got my camera and was entertained for a while too! This is such a fun age, and fun to capture all the amazement at everyday things we take for granted - like a weekend off with your family....

MaHaley & Grady (and suzie)

Today I had the pleasure of photographing MaHaley, her fiance Grady and "Suzie" (yes the bike). MaHaley and Grady are high school sweethearts and they plan to tie the knot in July at the park in Talking Rock. We had some fun at the park today and then we went to some land that MaHaley owns. Wow is all that I can say, it is beautiful. The mountain view is so beautiful. There is a cabin that was owned by Mahaley's grandmother that gave us a wonderful place to hang out and have some more fun. Congratulations MaHaley & Grady, I wish you the best of luck!

Talen Drake Maris

Last week Talen got to spend the night with "Auntie Angel" and we had a blast! Talen was born March 13th, 2009 and he is already 6 weeks old, man time flies. Thanks Shauna & Steve for letting Talen come to play. :o)

Justin & April E-Session

It won't be long and Justin & April will be married, June is right around the corner. We had a blast today shooting their engagement session and enjoying the spring weather. Haley & Benson

Saturday was prom for Pickens High School and I was fortunate enough to meet Haley & Benson. Their photos were taken outside on the beautiful grounds of The Tate House. They introduced me to a wonderful lady named Beverly that volunteered to help me with posing and hopefully she and I will get to work together again! I had such a blast with this fun and beautiful couple, thank you very much for making me a part of your special day.

Kayla & Jacob

It's hard to believe that we have been in this beautiful Georgia town for almost a year now. This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Jacob and Kayla. They met at church, they were making prayer boxes, when he finished his, he helped her with hers...and so it began, a beautiful story. We did their photos at the church where they met and at the fire station, where Jacob was right at home. Thank you Jacob & Kayla, it was a pleasure...
